5 reasons to lose weight now – or not!

With spring break only about 6 weeks away, all the reasons to lose weight may be swirling in your overworked head. Summer will be here before you know it. It’s time to snap out of this food-induced coma you’ve been in since the holiday binge anyway. So maybe you should finally lose some weight.

Or not.

reasons to lose weightI can think of 5 good reasons to lose weight next year instead of now.

  1. Who’s right is it to judge me anyhow?
  2. I’m getting by just fine.
  3. I’ll just gain it back anyhow.
  4. I don’t have time to deal with it now.
  5. I might have to spend money on new clothes.
  6. I’m getting by just fine.
  7. I will eventually get cancer or something else and die anyhow.
  8. I might even get hit by a bus tomorrow while crossing the street.
  9. I enjoy letting my kids blow me away in a relay race. It builds their confidence.
  10. I’m getting by just fine.
  11. I don’t have spring break.
  12. I don’t have the energy to lose weight. Eh…
  13. I’m trying to slow life down anyhow.
  14. I have spring break but am not going anywhere anyway.
  15. My significant other and kids love me for who I am.
  16. I don’t have or want a significant other.
  17. My love handles come in “handy” for certain things.
  18. I’m getting by just fine anyhow.

Oops. I got on a roll (mmm, with butter). You’re probably getting by just fine anyhow.
